Pentalalpha, The endless Knot, the pentacle of the Virgin, the Seal of the Microcosm,The star of knowledge, the Pentacle of the templars,as well as the seal of solomon. it has been used (in differnt forms) by Sumerians, Kabbalists,Celts,Egyptions,and yes Christians.
Wiccan definition is that it represents the elements Spirit, Water, Air, Earth, and Fire
the Spirits ruling the world of Matter..also stands for Life,protection, the points can also be a representatoin of the 5 senses,Stages of life or States of conciusness.
It also represents the Microcosmic man with his arms stretched out.
The Pentagram right side up represents God ruling over the world of matter. The 5 points represent the 5 places that Christ was wounded.
one of the reasons why the pentagram is so misunderstood is because it was adopted by the church of satan but in no way shape or for does Satanism and Witchcraft the same Thing
